Aliyah Husain
Substitute Dance Instructor
Aliyah is a BATD trained associate teacher who currently holds a diploma and degree in Musical Theatre from St. Lawrence College, and Queen's University, She is currently working on her bachelor of education at Queen’s University, specializing in Drama and Vocal music. Aliyah has performed in many productions, and worked with youth groups and camps. She cannot wait to teach at The Dance Complex

Natalia Middleton
Substitute Dance Instructor
Natalia Middleton is a passionate and versatile dance educator who began dancing at the age of 3. With extensive training in jazz, lyrical, ballet, and more, she brings over many years of experience to her teaching and choreography. Natalia currently teaches at multiple dance studios across the GTA, where she works with dancers of all ages and skill levels in both recreational and competitive programs.
As an alumna of The Dance Complex, Natalia is proud to now return as an instructor, bringing her journey full circle. Her deep-rooted connection to the studio fuels her commitment to creating a positive and empowering space for young dancers, just as she experienced growing up.
In addition to studio teaching, Natalia choreographs for a local theatre company, blending storytelling with movement to create dynamic, emotionally resonant performances. Her work in theatre has deepened her appreciation for the power of dance as a form of expression and connection.
Natalia is currently pursuing a degree in psychology, and her studies have greatly influenced her teaching philosophy. She believes in fostering a supportive, inclusive environment where every dancer feels seen and empowered. She emphasizes self-confidence, emotional well-being, and personal growth through movement, helping her students find joy in both progress and performance.
Natalia is excited to share her love of dance and creativity through The Dance Complex, and is committed to inspiring confidence, imagination, and self-expression in every class she leads.
